ANNOUNCEMENTS:
STUDENT ACCIDENT INSURANCE:
Beginning July 1, 2012, all purchases of student accident insurance must be completed by calling 877-444-5014 or on the Markel Insurance website at http://markel.sevencorners.com/. On this website, you will be able to view all of the coverage and premium options, review a Frequently Asked Questions section and purchase the insurance using a credit or debit card and receive an instant and printable confirmation of your purchase. The purchase of student accident insurance is optional but if you choose to purchase insurance, a copy of the confirmation page must be turned in to the QHS Athletic Office (10-12 grades) or Jr. High Attendance Office (7-9 grades) before your student will be able to participate in any athletic practice.
PHYSICAL DATES:
Sports physicals will be available at Quincy Medical Group on Wednesday, June 12, and Wednesday, July 17, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Appointments are required and may be made by calling 228-2323. Physicals are $10 each.
Physicals will also be available at Advance Physical Therapy on Tuesday, June 4, and Tuesday, July 30, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Appointments are required and may be made by calling 222-9300.
A 9th grade physical is sufficient for a sports physical, but a sports physical will not work for a 9th grade physical. The above sports physicals will not work for a 9th grade physical.
2013-14 PAPERWORK:
Paperwork for 2013-14 sports will be available on July 1. All paperwork must be filled out and returned before an athlete will be allowed to practice. Fall practices start on August 14. Paperwork will be available in the QHS Athletic Office or QJHS Main Office on July 1.
