Ellington Elementary School
At Ellington School we have meshed Stephen Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People with PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Support). With these principles as our guide we have created a school where students are explicitly taught building procedures, recognized for their ability to follow these expectations and supported when they fall short. Students are recognized during our Morning Meeting as they model the Habits and demonstrate mastery of our building procedures in addition to receiving SOAR tickets. The Ellington staff believes we play an important role in the development of our students and we believe it is a privilege to serve our families. We believe that learning can and should be fun and it should extend beyond the classroom walls and textbooks. We welcome our returning students back and invite new students and parents to join our Ellington School family!
