QFT CONTRACT APPROVED
QFT members approved a two-year agreement on December 21. The Board then voted to approve the contract at a special meeting held at noon on Thursday, December 22. The contract was approved 5-2. Members Jeff Mays and Bud Niekamp voted no. Union members, which include teachers and paraeducators, will receive a half step increase the first year, step and 1% increase in year two, and no change in insurance benefits.
