Students from Marci Likes’ 2nd/3rd grade class at Ellington School presented information to the Board on the Wee Deliver Program.  All students, kindergarten through 3rd grade, participate by writing letters to staff members and other students.  Mrs. Likes’ class is responsible for picking up, sorting and delivering all the mail.  Parents are also encouraged to participate by dropping off letters and cards for their students. Classes pair up to insure all students receive mail.

Principal Anne Cashman stated that the program promotes genuine writing opportunities for students and is a fun learning experience.  Students and staff look forward to the mail deliveries each Wednesday.
