continue to acknowledge acts of kindness
throughout the school year. In addition to
this theme, we will focus on academics.

The start of
a new school year is exciting, but it means
families must adjust. You can make the
transition smoother by setting rules so that
your child knows what to expect. Consistent
meals and bedtimes are a great help. Use
your calendar to keep track of schedules.
Write down those important times and dates.
Also, designate a spot for homework papers
and your child’s book bag. Routines and
procedures are your child’s “friend.”
