A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Parents,
Madison School belongs to all
of us – students, parents, staff – we are all a part of the Madison
Family. Madison takes pride in our long
tradition of academic achievement. In
fact, our motto at Madison reads “Where
Everyone Strives to Achieve.”
At Madison, we provide many
experiences within the curriculum to
meet every child’s needs. Along with
offering a curriculum rich with
literacy, mathematics, science, and
social studies, we involve all students
in the arts, music, environmental
education, safety and prevention
education, health and nutrition,
physical education, current events, and
a variety of cultural activities.
Kindergarten is all day, so that our 5 &
6 year olds can meet the expectations in
all curricular areas. We have multimedia
classrooms (tv/vcr/dvd, digital cameras,
video cameras and computers), plus our
entire building is connected to the
Internet.
We have a staff that is
committed to excellence and does
everything they can to see that “no
child is left behind.” We also have a
very active PTA that provides
instructional materials and items for
the children above and beyond the
typical curriculum. This includes:
guided reading books, technology
enhancements, and new playground
equipment – just to name a few.
