WELCOME TO THE QHS SCHOLARSHIP PAGE!
It’s never too early to start searching for scholarships! Scholarships can be based on several different criteria such as financial need, GPA/grades, volunteer work, leadership, or a really good essay. Check your college/university’s website for specific institutional scholarships.
Local scholarship paper applications can be picked up in the Registrar’s office.
Below are some yearly scholarships separated by the month they are due. Note that some scholarships might not be open yet if it is still early in the school year. Many local scholarships are not available or updated until 2nd semester. Scholarships specific to Quincy High are listed below. Please check the link for the most up-to-date information.

Elks National Foundation Scholarship 2023-24

NHS Scholarship 2023
Must be a graduating senior in good standing with NHS

Intent to pursue career in STEM field.
Adams Electric Cooperative Scholarships
Must be child of Adams Electric Cooperative member. Several scholarships with various due dates.
No Sweat Scholarship 2023
Open to high school students 13 and up! Create account and portfolio. No GPA or essay required.
DAR Good Citizenship Scholarship Contest
Student who exemplifies dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism. Personal outline, transcript, and timed essay required. See your Counselor for details!

Must be graduating minority senior.

Hy-Vee Foundation Scholarship
Must be High School student working at Hy-Vee. Must include application, personal statement, transcript, and resume’.
Illinois PTA Scholarship
For education majors. 3.0 GPA minimum.
QU Virtuoso Scholarship
4 full tuition scholarships. Open to instrumentalists and vocalists and must audition.
The Coolidge Scholarship 2024
Open to High school Juniors pursuing any major at a 4-year college or University.
