The chart below displays the percentage of students in Quincy Public Schools who approached, met, or exceeded standards for their grade-level state assessment. Illinois grade-level standards are measured using IAR for grades 3-8, and the SAT for grade 11. The tests go beyond multiple choice questions and require students to use skills like analyzing, problem solving, and writing effectively. All of these skills are necessary in order for students to be successful in the real world. The SAT is an admission test accepted by all U.S. colleges and is intended to determine a student’s level of college readiness in the academic subjects of Math and English/Language Arts.
