QPS District Improvement Team
The Quincy Public Schools District Improvement Team (DIT) is designed to promote communication regarding the district and school continuous school improvement process and annual goals. The committee meets five times per year to review various points of student data. In addition, the committee also hears proposals from schools on new curriculum resources, new courses, new programs, course revisions, and makes recommendations for core curriculum textbook/resource adoption. The committee’s schedule of reports, agendas and meeting minutes are listed below.
The QPS District Improvement Plan is lead by QPS Board Members, Shelley Arns and Rachael Petty. Additional members of the committee include; teachers, community members, parents, and QPS Administrators. The committee meets five times per year. (September, November, February, April, and June).
